Same story: high shear and heat push low-compatibility, low-MW additives to migrate or volatilize. Use polar polyester waxes plus polyester homopolymers to improve compatibility and melt stability, so less buildup and longer time between die cleanups.
How do you toughen films/sheets without making them gummy?

Polyester homopolymers create tiny energy absorbers, lifting elongation and tensile strength, improving impact and crack resistance.

· For clear grades, go low-color, low-VOC.

· Pair with polar polyester wax for stable processing and a clean surface.
Will additives mess with printing?

Internal polar polyester waxes (low VOC, low migration) reduce surface oiliness and actually help ink adhesion compared to typical non-polar lubes. Still, do your surface treatment/cleaning and run an adhesion test.
