Root Cause Analysis:

  • Formulation trade-off conflict: Tuned stiff for compression, but needs toughness for hand- bend and low- temperature bending. The balance is off, so all three can’t be met at once.
  • Narrow processing window: Thermal stability and fusion control are weak; once speed increases, the process becomes unstable, capping the line at 10-12 m/min.
  • High cost: Expensive package plus slow runs and more scrap drive up cost per meter.
