The pigment powder usually exists in the form of small particles at the microscopic level, and has a high tendency to agglomerate. During the masterbatch production process, pigment agglomeration may lead to uneven color distribution and insufficient color intensity. How do dispersing aids actually help color?

They wet and wrap pigments so they don’t clump back together. You get a tighter particle size distribution, higher dispersion efficiency, and long-term stability.
Can this lower cost?

If color strength is equal, you can often dose less pigment. You’ll also use fewer additives and scrap less—so yes, total cost goes down.
What’s the upside for final product quality?

How do you reduce color blooming and migration?
