Frequently Asked Questions

  • High filler loading keeps biting you—what should you tweak first?

    +

Start with how your additives work together. When CaCO3 is heavy, you want better dispersion and fewer friction hot spots. That means:

    · Use a polar polyester wax inside the melt (internal lube) to spread fillers evenly and cool down those hotspots.

    · Pair it with an external lube to keep surfaces smooth without over-slicking the melt.

    · Add a polyester homopolymer for toughness, without making the sheet “rubbery.”

Goal: fewer white residues on rolls and screws, less charring, cleaner surfaces, and a faster line.

  • What’s special about polar polyester waxes here?

    +

They’re the “good roommates” in PVC-more compatible, so they stay put. Result:

    · Better filler dispersion

    · Lower friction heat and fewer brown spots

    · Less oily surface and less migration

Perfect for CaCO3-rich floor/wall lines that need both dispersion and screw life.

  • How do you balance lubrication without killing mechanics?

    +

    Split the jobs:

    · Internal: polar polyester wax (helps fusion and dispersion)

    · External: high-density oxidized PE wax (helps release and gloss)

We found the sweet spot is the minimum effective dose. If you see mechanicals dip, bring in a polyester homopolymer to get toughness back.
